I keep getting this code.
Replaced both the valve by the tank and the one at the manifold. Also replaced the fuel cap just in case.
Could the canister itself be bad? And causing the code?
From what I have been able to find on the internet, you must add the wiring harness as well. Not sure if anyone can verify this for sure as the info I was able to find was not really...
For years, about 10, I used Mobile 1. Finances caused me to switch to conventional motor oil. I never switched back.

Yes, positive ground was used in cars. My '59 MG is a positive ground system.

A leaking intake gasket could cause the rough idle / stall as well. The TPS could cause this as well.
On my way to work this morning the OD rolled past 200,000. AWESOME truck!! Original engine and transmission (please GM gods do not jinks me). Hope to get atleast 50,000 more!
I am running the Iridium in my '02 Tahoe that is about to hit 180,000 miles. I will sware by these plugs.

If it is I will need to print off a TON of info b-4 it shuts down.
Replace it. Last thing you want is for your wife to have to deal with it especially with you leaving in such a short period of time.

The only times I have seen a distributer go bad was the gears got worn and it was spinning out of round. It is possible.

Well, it could be many things. I would start with the simple tests first.
Any codes? A TPS could rob you of power, even on flat surfaces. Clogged catalyic converter. Weak coil when under load.
