I'm in the Mercer/Somerset area so going waaay up north to Hackensack is out. :-)
I'm probably going to go with the 3M/fabric fix. Maybe I'll pull it out this weekend.

I have an '06 and sometimes have problems when going from hot to cold or cold to hot. Seems like it doesn't always completely close or open. I have found that if I turn on the recirculate for a...
I have a 2006 Sierra, standard cab that needs a new headliner. A dealer website shows the GM part as $500!
Anyone know of an aftermarket headliner available?

Sorry if this was already posted but I searched for it and couldn't find it. TSB 11046 must be for the canadians because the extended coverage is in kilometers. Now I have to try and find my receipts...
Slow down on going to the dealer unless your still under warranty or have money you don't want. You may be able to easily fix this yourself. I started a new thread before I saw yours.
I agree with Stephan. Your rotors may not be warped. I've replaced the pads on vehicles that had the steering wheel shimmy on braking without turning the rotors and the shimmy went away.

At about 60K I started getting a pulsing in my pedal at low speed stops. At first it seemed to only be happening on wet roads. But eventually it was almost all the time, wet or dry, I was getting...

If you get this code you don't need to pay $200+ just for the part. The $200 part listed is for a relocation solenoid kit.
After a lot of Googling I found the original Delco part # for my 2006...
Could be as simple as a bad ground wire. Let us know what the result is.
Pull out the gauge cluster and look at the back. It probably has a plastic sheet with 'printed' copper on it to make the connections. Since nothing is working it is probably the ground for the...
By heater I assume you mean the blower for heat/AC.
Does it turn over but just not start or will it not crank?
First thing to check is your battery terminals. Check both ends, at the battery...
Aftermarket is not all bad. Cruthfield.com has a huge selection at decent prices.
Best part is they send you all of the harnesses at no extra charge! They even send you pictures with step by...
I have an 04 Trailblazer with the stock non-bose, non-onstar cd player. The lights for two of the channel selector buttons have gone out. Anyone know if the bulbs are changeable?
Changed the fuel pump module on my '06 Sierra with a Delphi part ordered from Amazon. Part came in one day and was packaged carefully. $283 including overnight shipping.
Even with 1/4 tank of...

The orange wire going to your blower resistor/relay is hot all of the time. Your relay is the most likely cause, probably stuck in the 'on' position.
The resistor/relay assembly is located near...
Check the tension on the parking brake and the switch. If the cables are loose or sticking the light can come on intermittently.
Pull off the connector for the resistor and look closely at terminals on the connector and resistor. Good chance one or more of the contacts is burnt.
If they are burnt you'll need to cut the...
The first link I posted to Amazon's compatability didn't work maybe this one will.

2006 Sierra with only 64K miles has just started giving me trouble starting. Twice after sitting for eight hours it wouldn't start. The first time the tow truck driver from AAA banged on the gas tank...

I got the resistor from Auto zone even though the one the computer called for was wrong the guy found the right one. The right one for my Sierra WT was DR755.
My BIL got the harness from...

I went with an aftermarket harness and resistor, $75 for both. The harness wasn't color-coded but had a thicker guage wire. The resistor was identical to the factory resistor - made in Slovenia.

I have an '06 Sierra WT that had the same problem. There is a bulletin from GM on this.
You can buy a harness here or at you FLAPS....
