    When I bought my 2007 NBS I had to get the remote start activated later after purchasing the fobs at the dealership. GM has to change the software in the truck for it to work. was about $300 in '07.

    If your talkin' about your 2003 you should be able to override the DRL's and auto headlights by touching the Dome Override button twice. At least that worked in my 2000 S-10 and '02 Silverado.
