Only thing I would suggest is get a Suburban. The Tahoe is very nice and can haul plenty of people or plenty of stuff but not both. My 07 Trailblazer had more storage room then my wife's 08 Tahoe...

I'd like to follow this. I have a new to me 2008 Tahoe. I know that the Tahoe is a 5.3 vs your 6.2 and may make all this a moot point. I do want to do something to the Tahoe. That 5.3 just doesn't...
I just bought a used 2008 Tahoe LTZ with the White Diamond Tricoat, possible White Diamond Edition, to replace my totaled 2007 Silverado. Got a great price, low miles, and the vehicle is pristine....

I left my K&N air filter, Airaid MIT, and my TruXport cover on as I will not be getting another truck for the time being. I do hope they give me fair value for those items as they are all less than 6...

Well I will be unable to give any further updates to this product. I was in a accident Friday and it looks like my truck will be totaled. I was very pleased with this product for the time I owned it.
That is only a 2" drop? I measured mine and though that I would need to drop my rear 4" to make it level with the front. But your 2" looks perfect. I will go ahead and order a 2" drop right now if...
I actually had to fully undo the clamps, put them on the tube, and then join them together and tighten down. They would not slide over the lip for me. At least I know them suckers are gonna hold onto...
The idea I mentioned above works well for me as the Vortec Max essentially has a high flow air box already that draws cold air from the fenderwell. So to drop a K&N only instead of replacing the air...
Drop in K&N air filter and a Airaid Modular Intake Tube is less than 200 bucks and you have essentially a CAI.

The word is that Flowmaster is for sound and Magnaflow are for performance. I would think that a straight through design would help out with the ponies versus a chambered or baffled muffler. However,...

Did you receive my PM? Not sure if it went through or not.
I just put a set of Bilstein F4-BE5-A333-H0 and F4-BE5-A335-H0 on my wife's 2007 Trailblazer. At 60k it was like driving my kids jumparoo down the road. After replacing the shock and struts the TB...

Thank you 98 I will certainly do my due diligence and make sure that I am not asking or expecting too much. It's a shame that we as the customer need to take the extra steps and read the fine print...

I can for sure tell you that my local Chevy place here in Albany is not that knowledgeable or helpful. They must not have gotten the memo about increasing customer service. I just called and asked...

IMO the 1-2 setup is mostly cosmetic. I am sure you will get some minor gains as just about any setup is less restrictive than stock. That is all I have to offer as I have not done any exhaust work...

My brother has a bone stock 2001 Lightning that he just picked up for 11,500 with under 60k miles on it. Sharp little truck. Until we go head to head I am not sure that he can beat me. My truck is...

I have a couple ideas as I am doing this search myself and am trying to pinch every penny I can. I am looking at either Banks or Magnaflow so that makes it a little difficult to keep the price down....

Back from Panama City Beach. The TruXport worked just as it should. We encounter light/moderate rain with short periods of heavy rain. Speed ranged from 45-70 and even a short stop to soothe a...

Ok install was completed last night. Comes in three pieces with a bag of 6 clamps. Only tool you need is a 1/2 in wrench. Install was so easy and so fast that me and my friend stood around drinking a...

Just an idea but instead of going through the hassle of running extra pipe and finding places for extra mufflers you could always go with a single exit exhaust much like magnaflow or banks offers....

I would recommend buying either the Airaid MIT and just get a drop in filter of whatever brand. Keep the OEM airbox as it is already basically a CAI. It is on my 2007 VortecMax 6.0L. Not sure if...

I just purchased a "P/N 270601 TruXedo TruXport Tonneau Cover" and was wondering if anyone has any experience with this? I really wanted the TruXedo Lo Pro QT but at half the cost I decided to go...

Only experience I've had with 4.* liter motors was a 4.7 Magnum in my Dodge. It was an alright motor but at highway speeds it would have to down shift if in cruise control to maintain set speed. It...
