try re-setting the actuators
pull the neg. battery cable and re-install. turn truck on and do not touch anything for a few minutes
spend 80 on a proper diag. replacing the wrong part will cost alot more than that
probably the encoder motor (the sensor looses its position or fails completely).

very common problem, the resistor has been re-designed and is alot less common to fail

thats why chevys are the easyest vehicles to break into and the criminals know that
the dealer is telling you correctly. no sensor in the tumbler, just the actuator and ign.

get your stethascope out and pinpoint the noise (tranny, diff)

you need to switch the truck to 134 and rule of thumb is add 1oz oil for every part of the ac system you replace (ei: compressor, accumulator ect)
90% of the time when the resistor shorts out it will melt the ground or hot wire (sometimes both) . usually you can just take a quick look and see if thats your problem
first check the blwr fuse. ive seen several fuses half way melted and would cut off at number 5
the most likely cause is your blower motor resistor shorted out. very common problem and very easy...

if you dont keep dex flush'd atleast every 50k it will eat everything (starts turning acidic around 32k)
