Glad the info was helpful.
An aggravating situation with a cost effective solution - for a change.
It's seeping coolant from behind the large fitting. Didn't know if I could replace a gasket or something to fix the problem. My first plastic radiator.
2004 Chevy 2500HD w/6.0 Gas
I have developed a seeping leak at a connection on the back part of the radiator.
Any idea what is involved in...
2004 2500HD 6.0 - 140K - excellent condition - only mods are CAI/dual exhaust/285 tires/programmed shift.
It was throwing a bad bank one O2 sensor. Pulled and replaced it. No more 02 codes.

Thanks. Might have been a false alarm. I reset the Check Engine Light and haven't thrown any codes yet. If I need to change any sensors I know where they are now.
Had the same problem.
Check out how I solved it in this thread http://www.gmtruckclub.com/forum/showthread.php?t=24761&

I'm pulling a P0135 code - bad O2 sensor on bank 1 sensor 1.
Where is the bank 1 O2 sensor located on a gas 2004 6.0 2500HD?
Common sense tells me to look at it this way - am I right?
My 2004 2500HD has a problem spraying washer fluid.
Originally I found the plastic line behind the battery to be broken. Fixed it.
Now I get fluid to the wiper arms - but it sprays beneath the...

I bought a used 2004 2500HD (gas) and the instrument cluster does not have the trans temp gauge.
I thought that gauge was stock equip on a 2500HD? Possible swap for a cluster gone bad?
I know how aggravating these things can be. I chased a phantom light problem on a Montana that ended up being a poor factory rear light harness.
Good info here -...
The one thing that they all have in common when plugged in(do not work correctly) but don't share when unplugged(work correctly) is your adapter.
Have you checked it or swapped it...

Perfectly said and understood. That's what I needed to know. Thanks

Still need a little help understanding the control the pcm has over changes made to improve performance.

Tried your trick - worked like a charm. Thanks
Thanks. I knew something must go there.
Yep - bought it used.
Do they make anything useful that could go there to take the place of the child anchors?
Are the red/blue bars on the climate control suppose to illuminate when the other dash lights are on?
Mine never have and I recently saw a pic...
Thanks for the reply.
Here is a pic from the passenger side. There are 3 of these openings.
If this is normal, what fills/covers these openings?
What does the interior rear cab panel look like on an 04 Silverado 2500HD standard cab?
I am about to put a folding jump seat in and I noticed mine looks "unfinished". A plastic piece with...

I would like to replace my non-folding jump seat with one that folds.
What years can I replace my 04 with? If the bolt holes line up and the seat size is the same does it really matter?
Looked and looked. My 04 seems to have the filter in the tank as well.

No wiring diagram.
I am not getting voltage to the relay.
I can't find any bad fuses.
Everything else that has to do with the keyed switch seems to be working (gauges, etc.).
Is there any...
We experienced this issue several years ago in a 98 Montana with a 3800. This was before everyone seemed to be aware of it. Fortunately I was able to find a bunch of info online about people having...
That's what I was planning to do. Thanks.
I need to double-check but I'm about positive the filter's on the frame.
I want to change the fuel filter on my 04 2500HD w/6.0 Vortec.
This may sound very basic, but I don't know the correct answer.
Since I don't have anything to bleed the pressure off, could I be...
