Hi Tricia, Yes I did take it back and nothing was done. There is no fix. I tell everyone I see and on the internet not to buy a Chevy model like mine! i made a 40k mistake. Thanks, Brent.

No, the problem still exists. The dealer ordered a nickel plated slip yoke. I will update when it is installed.

Did you use an impact wrench for installation? If so loosen then hand tighten with a wrench..problem solved. Brent

Picked up my truck today. They filed down the yoke splines and lubed it up. No clunking at this point. Hopefully this has fixed the problem..if not on to the nickel plated slip yoke.

I have the same problem..call gm customer support and get a case file started. That's what I did. The dealer lubed the rear end with no solution to the problem. I should have purchased another brand!...
