look on ntwonline.com, rockymountainsusp.com, 4wheelparts.com, jackit.com(i know it kinda looks like a porn site but it isnt) those are about the best ones i can think of right off the top of my head
3 inch body on that truck you can clear 35's but you wont have as much flex. with a 4 inch lift without the body lift you can clear 35's. on the internet sites where it says a 6 inch lift calls for...
the toyo mt's should fit on that rim although its not always the best idea. i would still go on ahead and do it. and yes the 34's will fit. my buddy had a f150 and all he did was crank the torsion...

does anybody know of some good wheelin spots near the good ole mountains that a stock truck could go without much trouble?

you are my hero jollygreengiant. i aint never seen a newer chevy like that in the mud and im glad to see somebody has the balls to 4wheel a truck that aint cheap to fix
