I'm with you. I've spent all the time I'm going to donate to try to help the owner. Now it's up to her.
Just so you get a clear picture, this is a friend that has parked this truck in sis's yard for the last 25 years. Now she's retired and not interested in doing the work at this point in her life. But...
Got word back that the owner wants $11,500 for the truck and an extra $4000 for the shop manual. Oh well.
Funny that any search I've done produces plenty of 3100s but not one single 3200 anywhere.
The only thing missing is someone that sees the possibilities that wants to tackle the project. Not likely to find someone on Craigslist.
It is such a cool truck it'd be a shame to see it disappear or be altered back to a stock chevy truck. I appreciate the history lesson. It needs to be kept as it was built in 1955.
