So I want to take off the front license plate box on my new body sierra. Does anyone know what kind of tool to use to get it off?
I did this on my old one...
This is definitely a common reoccurring question
A 2" lift with 33's id the perfect fit and looks MEAN!
Although it is lowered geared, since it is a diesel it would get pretty decent gas mileage, ESPECIALLY while towing.
Those look like such mean, truck looking wheels.
:sign0016: This is by far the best forum I have ever been on. You will enjoy this
Thanks for the input
Well I am going to scope out how much it would cost to throw on a 3" body lift on top of my 6, but that would also mean I have to drop the gears to 4:10 's. Did your buddy...

Come to think of it, even my family's other GM vehicles have also had the same "clicking" sound

Lol If I was getting 20mpg, I wouldn't be asking questions,
I would be too scared of Jynxing myself next time lol
But have you considered climate?
altitude and temperature?
:sign0016: I have friends from Ohio (around the Columbus area actually)

If you really want to go with the top of the line, go with a touch screen DVD display with an aux
You can get one with navigation and it will play DVD's
You will replace the whole top...

For an A/T tire, I have heard much better things about the Nitto's and they are more popular.
I think toyo does make good products, but the Nittos are known for having good tread wear, quality,...
So I was thinking about doing a 3 inch body lift on top of my 6 inch suspension lift. I would clear 37's with it. Does anyone have this set up? Please give me some feedback. Thanks
In that case...Borla exhaust hands down
It sounds throaty when accelerating, but it isn't as noisey as flows.
It sounds REALLY good! I had it on my old 07, and it is a great sounding exhaust that...

as far as volant goes, I really think AFE is much more worth the money.
Are you running prorgammers?
Flows are sick sounding..especially if you are going for volume

Search around for some black rims
White trucks with black wheels look nice
here's an idea: http://farm2.static.flickr.com/1170/946397467_36116d77b7.jpg
i'll look around for any specific brands...
Mud flaps are a good investment if you want to keep your paint away from rocks and gravel damage.
Honestly I am not positive...
but I think that is impossible because it is an entirely different body itself.
It would not be as easy as changing an 01 front end into an 05, because it is not...
Definitely post some pics for us when you get done...
But you have to make sure you take your time on this kind of stuff or you can really scratch your paint
but im sure you'll be fine:glasses:

I believe it costs around $1500 to do it all though
I have a lot of buddies who have done it on their ford SD's so it can definitely be done
I'm in the market right now for a black powdercoated billet grille
I can't find it online anywhere..has anyone found it for the new bodies yet?
Please let me know of any websites
oh and since I forgot to mention it...
that suburban is a beast!
LOL..you can convert a suburban into a dually but you cant resize the images?
You should download Irfanview, play around with it and you can resize your pics bigger, saller, and crop them
Those are really sick.
Where did you get them at? And how much do they go for?
