    well the jury rig I performed on the gauge didnt work. The gauge might read 235F upon startup or maybe 260F + upon startup. I see no choice but to buy a new one or have it repaired as a link on this...

    I should have mentioned compressing the brake pistons which i used a c-clamp and block of wood.
    I think the use of a torque wrench would be better. I don't have the proper torque required though.
