Great looking rig!
My 1996 Chevrolet Tahoe started its life being born at Janesville Assembly in Janesville, Wisconson
Tahoe was then bought for $30,464 by an unknown buyer in Monroe CT, but based on what a Chevy dealer told me the original owner(s) bought it as a special purpose service vehicle i.e. police car, EMT fly-car or such.
Tahoe was then bought by a used car dealer who used it as his personal car for awhile until he broke a rear brake line and decided to sell it.
I bought the truck in June of 2011 and since I have been trying to fix her up and bring her back to factory specs and condition.
As of August of 2013 she has 202,000+ miles and over $4,500 have been invested in the truck for repairs, routine, and preventative maintenance.

WOW! That is a nice looking truck and I appreciate your mods too! Thanks for the suggestion on the trans replacement (L465e); I haven't done anything yet pending research into everything that I want/need to do. Good luck with yours!
