    Default rear end ? 1994 rear end bad and leaf spring ,will 1996 work

    rear end ? 1994 rear end bad and leaf spring ,will 1996 4x4 work its the same make and model
    long ways to drive to see if its going to work for parts for 1994 4x4
    1994 4x4 its my 2 foot snow go to work truck

    Welcom to the forum! Often, if you call or visit a salvage yard they will be able to tell you what parts are interchangable from other vehicles with yours. As you may have guessed, I don't know the answer.

    You don't say whether you are looking at a 10 bolt or a 14 bolt axle, but it doesn't matter (as long as both are the same). I'm almost certain that GM made almost no changes to the 10 bolt and 14 bolts during the '90's, so I wouldn't expect too much difficulty in using a '96 axle to replace a '94.
