Default Upgrading from 2005 to 2012 Stock Wheels

A relative of my wife's mentioned to me over the weekend that he knew a guy who could get me a great deal on a set of new tires as well as the current OEM wheels for my 2005 Silverado. What do these new ones typically cost and what would my 2005 wheels be worth if I went that route?

As far as how much your old ones are worth, idk but I would go on your local craigslist to see what others are selling for to get a price range.
