Dome lights not coming on?
Whats up everybody, I'm a newbie around here and I was wondering why my dome lights wont come on when the doors are opened? If I press the dome override button the lights on the bottom of the doors come on but not the dome lights? I'm going to start by checking the fuses today when I get off work, but do you guys have any other ideas on what else I should check?
BTW its a 2002 Chevy Tahoe

Do they not come on no matter what? Because if that is the case you should check the bulbs as well, and if both bulbs and fuses are good check the wiring.

If your had a cover off to change a bulb, it might be a blown fuse, I'd doubt if all of the bulbs blew at the same time.
Your talking about the dome override switch, I am not sure I know what that is; but, you should have a switch that lets you turn the domes off (this may be the override you are talking about). It is on the dash, near the headlight switch.Ray
