This truck was in Swink Schools bone yard. I thought it deserved another life. I had a 1950 front clip so I used it instead of finding the GMC front clip. I liked the hood that was on it so I kept it and sold the 50 hood. The rear fenders are also off of the same 50 pickup. They were beat up pretty bad so they still have a lot of character to the. I still need to put in a few windows and a water pump. I'll have her on the road one of these days.
The truck was originally blue so I tried to mach it. I used the old acrylic paint.
White and blue.
None, but I do have a delete plate.
235 straight-six gmc engine
the suspension is original but the rear end is out of a 1972 1/2 ton Chevy 4wd. The truck had a 5 lug rear end out of a car. They use to put them in to increase the speed. These trucks would go about 50 from the factory.
Factory wheels. Maypop tires for now
