Red face 2000 Silverado Z71 Stepside in Southern Indiana

I just bought my first Chevy in eight years. My last was a new 2004 Avalanche LT Z71. I've owned at least 50 Chevys over the years but left for a string of Hemis. In addition to buying it because it's my favorite look for any truck, it's going to keep the mileage and exposure to bad weather down for my 2010 Challenger R/T and 2012 Durango R/T. I decided to pull the trigger because of this forum. It's got 159,200 miles on it but after reading several posts, I took a risk with it. I paid $7,000 out the door which I think is a good price for it. I drove it 50 miles to get home and there are no issues with it as far as I can tell. Even the floor 4WD shifter is okay with me since it's a little old and should cause fewer problems. I plan to put a flowmaster on it this week and possibly a remote start system since it didn't come with any remotes. Enough for now. This looks like a good place to get information so I should be a regular. Thanks for all the information.
