awesome! I will be watching this thread. I have one question though. I am not trying to be negative, I really have no idea, so that is why I am asking. Reading the specs online for that intake Holley says that it is made to produce max power at 7,000 - 8,000+ rpm range. My 2005 5.3L redlines at 6,000 rpm. Do you plan on running in that 7,000-8,000+ rpm range? If so, how? Again, my question is not meant to be negative in anyway. I am trying to educate myself at your expense.

Dyno tests I have found showed gains from 1500 - 6000... with max be 7-8000. With the L92 heads, cam and this intake I should see decent gains in the range I am looking for... specifically above 2500. I have specifically chosen the smaller upper upper (stock size) over the 102 mm throttle body version to maintain more lower end torque. The stock throttle body should easly suppot up to 600hp. I can't wait to get it completed... just have to stagger buying the parts as I have the cash.
