Thread: Trailer Brake Controller Problem

Ugh I hate those things. I went on a mission to remove them from my new trailer when I bought it and was surprised (and pleased) to find not a single one of them. Those things are the devil's children, I swear...

Ok; the consensus is:
1. Clean up the truck/trailer connector and use dialectric grease.
2. Get rid of connectors and solder connections.
3. Check the trailer ground.
I forgot to mention that I've never pulled this trailer in the rain but the trip where I had the problems was in a very heavy rain. Thanks for your help. I'll post back as I get these problems addressed.Jerry Acheson of Glenview, IL
