So, I've been taking tons of pictures of the storm and water so I decided I'll first hand report from my house on the storm. I live really close to the water so I'm literally in the ****.

We are staying home we live up the street on a hill. If the water is reaching my house there are bigger problems than just flooding, but people on the bottom of the street are supposed to evacuate. Person whose house I was standing at decided he's not leaving until the water reaches where Irene reached.

You are about an hour from Hartford. Can you heat WTIC News/Talk 1080? They are doing a lot of Sandy information.

Yah I think so. But I've been getting most of my info from WTNH, facebook, patch, and UI on conditions and outages. The pic is from a local teen on the other side of town she shared it with our local news network and its gone viral locally.
