Cop cars on the street. Windows creaking. Its getting crazy here. Winds getting worse.

Wind is lessening and got all candles lit will be starting generator at 9 to keep fridge cold. Gonna be a long night.

Well the flood waters receded even with it being high tide. The street has tons of debris and sand. Just refilled generator its running great only doing two fridges, small energy efficient light and phone chargers. It only burned about 1/2 a tank in 4 hours which is great, but the gas gauge sucks. Tahoe is still safe and will be geeing a work out tomorrow cleaning up and will get a bath to remove the salt and leaves on her.

Washed Tahoe from the storm. The damage is insane.... I can't post pics yet because I don't have power but I will once I can multiple houses were absolutely destroyed and there's debris everywhere. Oh my god do I feel bad for my neighborhood.

Roads are closed to remove debris and sand and put sand back on beach. This blows... so day two with out power and running our little generator. Yay life by candle light.

Well will have to shut off generator tomorrow to change oil and let it really cool down, by that point it will have been on for 30 hours. Will be getting synthetic for it so it'll run better and longer. Tomorrow will also try to figure out how bad rest of town is.
