    Default Brake Controller Fuse

I have a 2003 Silverado and I'm installing an electric brake controller. I bought an adapter cable that plugs into the junction box behind the brake pedal. Well, I plugged the adapter cable and was checking voltages when the black (+) wire touched the white (-) wire. A little spark and no more +12v at the black wire. Does anyone know which fuse services this junction box connection?

See this site for a pic of the junction box. It is the top pic on the right and I was plugged into the correct location for an electric brake controller, the one outlined with a red line. The black wire goes to the left-center terminal in the second junction, as described.

Thanks in advance for any help,

FOUND IT! it is the STUD 2 fuse in the upper right hand corner of the underhood fusebox, If you are standing at the left fender looking across the engine. Hard to see that it is blown, and what a funny name for a fuse . However, in the owner's manual it says: "Accessory Power Trailer Wiring Brake Feed.
