    Default Some Suburban Love

Owner of a '97 Chevy Suburban. It's been laid up for months with a nearly dead transmission. Finally have saved enough quarters and dimes to get the transmission replaced this month !! Looking forward to picking up some knowledge from everyoen here.

my name is Dave and I am from Ontario,Canada.
I have a 1996 Chevrolet Suburban, with around 209,000 k/ms on it.I am the second owner, the first one a women in London, I think she abused it more than drove it.I had to rebuild the rear axle with in a year after I purchased it, and she said the tranny was rebuilt which it was not, I had tranny leaks from both front and rear main seals and the soneloid went on it and well I had it in tranny shop here 2wice, but she runs smooth now.Mine is a 2 X 4 I just love it.I am a disabled crippled so it is easy for me to get in it and out of it. It has factory running boards on it too.
See if I can a pic on here to show you here or check my profile out.I hand draw and hand paint cars, trucks and motorcycles on T-shirts and It helps me set up at all the local cruise nights when I am painting off a T-shirt.It is great for loading and unloading.I wish I had bought one many years ago. Just love how it handles and drives too.
My grandfather once told me when I was much younger, "you look after your vehicle, it will look after you, but if you abuse it and not repair it won't look after you, sorta like a women, hahahahahah. He was an automechanic and I tried to follow in his foot steps but I had strokes at a young age and I did never become one.
Well take care, have fun with ur burban.
