it was cold out and there was 1/2 tank fuel in it ... but i know whatever sends the signal to the gauge isnt working properly .. the fuel gauge only works correctly while cruising
2001 Gmc Sierra 2500hd
-All clear lights with 5000k HID -Spectre cold air intake -Geolander at tires -Meyer 7.5ft poly plow E60 pump -Dumper dogg stainless dump insert- Pioneer headunit with Alpine type s 6.5 and Polk 4x6 and 6.5 inch sub with alpine vpower amp.

just an update my fuel pump went out and was replace and it still does this.. my mechanic buddy thinks its the alt regulator acting up when its cold
