    Default Chevy 3500 timing issue

    hello all,

im new to the forum, but im having some issues with my truck i did a tune up but for some odd reason the truck still has a misfire that gets worse on higher rpms, but also while it is idling it is at 16 degrees retarded and at 2000 rpms it is at at 37 degrees retarded, i replaced the distributor and still the same thing, we replaced cap and rotor and new plugs and wires and still had the misfire. i tried resetting the computer to stop the computer from retarding the timing. but that didnt work either. does anybody have any ideas im not sure what else to do its running like crap.

please give me some other ideas to try.

Hello! I understand that you are seeking technical advice from your fellow forum members and I might not be able to give you any technical advice. I would be happy to look into this concern or locate a dealership in your area if you find you cannot resolve this issue yourself. We are only a private message away!
