Default starts...runs for a few seconds... then dies...

I have a 95 suburban with 5.7 in it. A few weeks ago I was on a little 30 minute drive when it suddenly started to stall, loose power, and backfire. The more gas i gave it the more it stalled but it never died. I got it home and thats where it stayed because now all it does is start up...runs for a few seconds... then dies... but it will start up again then dies again.. I know its a fuel delivery problem because as long as i'm spraying gas and carb cleaner into the throttle body it runs but when i stop the truck stops. my fuel pump comes on and runs a few seconds after it dies. Most of the time it shoots a fire ball out of the throttle body. PLEASE HELP!!! CAUSE A MAN WITHOUT HIS TRUCK ISNT A BEAUTIFUL THING

Considering you had bad fuel and such, I'd swap out the plugs too.
