    Default ABS issue. Please help

Driving down the road today, I heard a noise that sounded like rubbing on a tire. So I pulled off at gas station and a hose for brake line was loose. Zip tied it back in its spot( not pinched). Continued on...then abs light came on and more rubbing sounds, now a squeaking sound is present. What could be causing this to happen. I'm not leaking brake fluid or anything. It's just something with the abs system. Any advice on what to check would be greatly appreciated. Oh, I have an 02 silverado Z71 with 95,000 miles. Thanks in advance for any help on this.

You must have hit something, or, maybe you tied the brake line to the ABS wire.

The ABS uses a speed sensor at each front wheel, if one of them no longer detects the wheel speed, the ABS computer will light the ABS light.

Check the wheel, to see if the hose has knocked off the sensor, or the wire off the sensor.

BTW, as soon as you pushed the brake pedal, the hose would move and the zip tie probably broke.
