I use it all the time for farm work, even in my dad's 3500. When you are trying to get out of one of our barn lots up a steep hill with up to 10 tons on the trailer, it comes in handy2000 Sierra Reg. Cab 5 Speed

Multiple times per year, as I am an avid off-roader.

4WD low in snow is less effective than putting the truck in second gear in hi-range 4WD. With my Duramax the Allison goes into a low traction mode and applies less torque to the wheels to minimize spinning. Low-range is going in the opposite direction. Try it next time.

I've owned my truck since new and have only used L/4wd once just to see what it was like! I think H/4wd will get me through the most that i'll see!2010 GMC SIERRA CREW CAB (Silver) 4x4, ReadyLift 2.5" Level Kit, 305/60/18 Dick Cepek Mud Country, Go Rhino Nerf Bars, Husky Liners front and rear, Bushwacker Bed Rail Caps, SCT Programmer.

Every time I drive my truck. I have a manual trans and manual locking hubs, so if I'm backing into a tight spot, it goes into 4LO. Same goes for any road I'm exploring. 4LO and hubs unlocked. Better torque and gear options. I can use 4th gear and 4LO to go 15 mph up to 50 mph. Funny thing is, I never even use 4HI, unless maybe a snowy asphalt highway. If I'm on a winding backroad, or off the highway, I'm in 4LO.
