Tricking the Computers, deleting the ABS
The ABS on the my '93 sucks... my 70 chevelle stops way better with manual brakes, and the truck stops even better, when i pull the ABS fuses.
but, when i do that the computer freaks out, check engine light comes on, and the speedometer does not work...
so, how can i make the computer focus on running the tuck, so i can focus on driving it? eventually i want to re-plum the brakes all around the truck and completely delete the ASB all together.
this will also make engine swaps easier.
has anyone done this? where should i start?Gas was $1.83 when Obama took office.....

I can't speak of your 1993, but my 1995 W/T had ABS and it worked great.
