Window Lift Motor Replacement

Anyone have the instructions for removing driver side door panel, removing and replacing window regulator and window lift motor, then re-installing door panel for a 99 Silverado 4WD ext cab 3dr?

No special instructions. Typical door panel removal techniques should get you past the door panel. ie remove any screws, and mushroom buttons holding the door panel. Once you have the panel off, the window motor should be riveted to the door bracing. Drill out the rivets and replace the motor. Note: You will need to support the window up out of the way. You can use tape or a wedge for that. Track down the proper rivets. They are usually larger than typical pop type rivets. I have used small bolts to replace the rivets, but in some applications bolts will not work.

If the motor is bolted in place, just loosen the bolts and undo any electrical connector for replacement of the motor.

Make some notes, and take some pics. You can post them here for the benefit of others.
