    Default Headers and cats

I have a 2000 k2500 LS crewcab with the short box. It has the 5.7 liter, and automatic transmission. It is also 4 wheel drive. I have purchased Flowtech shorty headers, and a Flowmaster muffler and tailpipe. I now found Magna-Flow catalytic converters with the Y pipe. Will that Cat system bolt directly to the shorty headers?

If the headers where designed to bolt to the stock y pipe and the Magna-Flow Y pipe is designed as a direct replacement for the factory y it should work.
