Gremlin hunt in 05 Yukon XL
A friend recently picked up a 05 Yukon XL SLT, and says that it has some glitches. I've been through the search and found some posts that are close, but I want to open this up to the whole era.
The driver door won't lock/unlock with the fob or armrest switch - the other doors do.
The window is intermittent.
The seat heater doesn't work - I did find a write-up on this, so I'll be testing...
The courtesy light is broken, and the harness is hanging below the door panel, so I'm guessing someone has been inside the panel recently.
The expired OnStar continually talks to him - something like 'call not available' - is there a reset or off option?
He hasn't played with pedals yet, so I don't know if that's out, too.
I've been leaning towards the switch panel in the drivers door; dirty, corroded, or a short, and my search will send me to the module under the seat.
Any other help ya'll can offer is appreciated.
