    Default catcon

Sorry, I am new here so I don't know if this is in the right section. My catalytic converters are all clogged up and keep throwing codes. My question is...if I replace them with straight pipes, will it still throw codes? I am not worried about emissions too much.

On a 98, yes, it will. On OBD II systems, which is everything post 1996, there is a second O2 sensor that monitors the cat. If you Replace the cat, the codes might stop. Depending which codes are you getting!
Now if you get a bypass for the post cat O2,.....

I forget the exact code but I know it had something to do with a clogged cat. How could I bypass the 2nd o2?
