Enkei- We tryed to take Ralph's truck on that dyno, and It would not physically fit up on the platform lol!!! We were dissapointed.

We picked up a set of electric fans out of a 98-02 F-body for $50.00.
At Summit Racing we found a set of long tube ceramic coated headers for $300.00, they are Doug Thorley Tri-Y headers, for 67-72 Chevy LS swap. (They don't make a header application for this particular swap, so these are a total experiment.)
Some clearance shots of the header on the passenger side fits perfect, drivers side was a disaster!!!

If you guys think this thread is good so far, wait until you see what we are working on right now with it lol!!
Here's some pics of the header clearances we have to work with, we had to massage the firewall a little bit to clear the 1 5/8" primaries.

Enkei- We bought those headers scratched up, that's how we got them so cheap. Wait till you see what we did to the other side.
The seller of the engine put a 6.0 in his camaro for a turbo build, so we made a deal that we got his truck oil pan and he kept the f body pan for clearance in his camaro. We got the windage tray and pickup tube.
Put the 3" body lift on the cab first since it was the easiest part.
Ralph removed the coil overs, sanded painted and clear coated them. This is the second time he has done it, the first time lasted a few years suprisingly.
Pics of the engine getting torn down, for 100,xxx miles it was perfect internally. He ran Mobil 1 5w30 synthetic the whole time, and there was no sludge whatsoever and the cylinder walls still had crosshatching visible. We did not change anything in the bottom end, bearings were like new, rods, pistons, crank was all good.

Thanks Scooter!! We did get to drive it about 200 miles last year, and then we tore it apart again...
Performance Accessories 3" body lift $287.00, very nice kit except we were missing about 4 brackets which we had to wait weeks for!! These pics show the gap on the rear bumper if you choose to not lift the bumper, we did however lift the bumper later on when we got the brackets.
