    Default 2002 tahoe slips on 2-3 shift

    2002 Tahoe, Z71 all stock -slips occasionally, or shifts very soft, from 2-3. Any thoughts?

    how many miles on her?

    when was the last time you had a fluid job on the tranny ?

    I have heard good things about this stuff called trans-x. It comes in a quart and you can get it at places like autozone. I guess it gets rid of slips and leaks. My friend's father owns a transmission shop and says that the stuff takes business away from him. It's only like 8 dollars for the quart so if it works it could save you a bunch of money and if it doesn't, it's only 8 bucks.
