    Default New spam emails!

We all see spam emails. I have my spam filter shut off because aol has a new system that stinks and always sticks my approved emails in the spam box. The spam seems to come in waves. A few months ago it was always for cialis or vicodin from Canada. Recently, I have been getting emails about me failing a background check. Well, I know that is not true. Today I received one that explained that my son has a felony and multiple unpaid tickets! Well, after speaking with him I figured out that it was not true also. You see, my four year old just learned to drive last week and has only taken the truck out for a ride by himself one time and his felony candy smuggling charges were dropped. It could be my 18 month old. I will have to have a conversation with him when he wakes up from his nap, wait a minute, I better make sure that he is napping and not driving around town!

Many people elect not to go through the hassle of changing email addresses. Why should they? AoL is free, just like hotmail/live.com, Google, Yahoo, and the rest...

I don't use it for email. Long ago, I had to have it for dial up access. After getting cable internet I canceled the aol service but retained the email address. I could use my school email address, but the user interface is terrible. I have a gmail account but that is just for junk mail, like when you have to sign up at a website to view something.

Well it's painfully obvious the email isnt the problem, you need to get a grip on those kids, driving at 18 months is just a gateway crime to more serious things in the future, look you already had to get them to drop charges for one that was smuggling candy.
Whats next skipping nap time to watch Barney? This just cant be tolerated!!!

You indicated that you don't use it for email ... but you retained the email address. What's the point of retaining an email address for something you don't use for email?

Also, how do you know what emails are received at the @aol.com address if you don't use it for email? Clearly you must check it, else you'd not know what was received, there ... which means you DO use it for email in some capacity, even if it's infrequent.

Care to clarify your response so that it makes some sense?

I totally agree with Tim. You need to do something about this before the kids get carried away.

LOL, I was in the middle of something when I responded. It should read, "I just use it for Email"! Thanks Surrealone, I can always count on you to point something like that out

I know! I must do something. Maybe a weekend in jail will scare them both straight! I hope the sheriff deputies like changing the 18month old's diapers.
