    Default 1991 V1500 Starter Issue

Can someone tell me if I can fix this or replace the started motor. Normally what will happen is once I turn the key and the motor is started the starter motor will run on and sound like the motor is falling apart. It sounds like the fly wheel is grinding or something. But once and awhile the starter will not do this. Plus one time I turned the key and the motor did not start but the starter had that sound like it was grinding or something. This is how I know it is the starter. Now can this be fixed? Or should I replace the whole thing?

    Thanks in advance.

I will replace the starter. It's the begining of the end it has something to do with the starters relay.
