    HARD TOP!!!

I saw one of these on a Dodge Ram, and the fitment was real nice. It just doesn't fit the body good on the Avalanche, sorry just being honest with you. The piece over the tailgate looks the worst, almost like there is a gap at the bottom.

The big question is If you decide to go back to the other topper, now your going to have a bunch of holes drilled into the roof that are probably going to leak now. You did do a nice job on the install though..

The hard top has a clean look, but I like the soft top for it's versatility. Being able to open up the back is a big plus.

I would say the soft top. Much like your reasoning, the top can be removed if you had a larger object. I like easy and headache free moving
