AC Pump??Can it be used for?
Im throwing around some Ideas but Im not very knowledgable with the AC compressor. Could It be used to fill an airtank for the purpose of running a train horn or fill up tires or anything of the likes without messing up the AC in general?4.8L Vortec | 6inch Lift | Wild Peaks 33'' | K&N Intake | AirRaid Throttle Body Space | 3inch straight pipe dumped at rear axle | BlackBear Tuned | 2 13in JL Audio Subs | 1000watt HD amp, 2.9 cap | Sony Deck | Gibson Hi Flo Cats | HIDs Hi/Los 55watt 8000k |4.56 gears |

No, it can not be used for anything else. It is a sealed unit that moves and compresses freon . It does not actually compress air.

But if you find one of the old GM pancake compressors it can be used as a compressor, and its mounts and removable pulley allow it to be modified for use on a newer truck.
