    Second Generation C2 1963/1967
    and Third Generation C3 1968/1982

Even though the latter part of the third generation Corvettes were watered down versions GM did manage to sneak in a few high performance cars if the buyer knew how to properly order it.
I prefer 68 to 72 since they were offered with so many optional high performance goodies and had chrome bumpers.

1969 L88 427CI, 425HP, so they say was only 425, some dyno'd at 460. They had in the works a all aluminum ZL1 510CI, only 2 were made and I do not know where they went. 1967 to 1970 were the best of my likings. After 1970 Ralph Nadar was beginning to be a Name and there is history.......

I've been dragged all over the place throughout much my life looking at 63 split window coupes. I used to hate looking at them and would moan/groan about it when my father wanted to scope one out. However, they've grown on me and become my favourite, as well.
