    Cool 2000 Silverado 4.3

Where is the coolant temp sensor on this truck, I found one that goes to the temp gauge drivers side under 3 and 5 plug wire. Iam looking for the one that signals the ecm computer. I have look all over and cannot find it. Thanks Doc

I belive it is like my Tahoe and it is located right where the thermostat goose neck is on top of the block.

Thanks Again for the drawing, but strange that it is not there either. I have looked all over this engine and cannot find it, I have googled it also, and found what you have found and its not in any known location as on other 4.3 chevys, this 2000 must be a strange year. I have asked a few mechanics to look also and none have for it. Thanks for your time and help. We did find the one just below were your drawing has it but its the temp gauge. Thanks Doc
