engine ticking

i just noticed tonight that my engine is ticking, sound like from the bottom end. i can hear it better under the truck than from the engine bay. i only have 3500 miles on it and i dont rag on it. anybody else have this problem with the 4.8.

Well as far as I can tell, most all of the 4.8 and 5.3 that I have seen tick a little. My 5.3 does. Been like it since new. I don't rag on mine either, I pound mine and she loves it.
