FAVRE Retires...

Well it was "official" yesterday Brett Favre held his press conference, which I have watched 4 times now.... It has been a sad week in my house. I guess I should mention that being from Southern Wisconsin,originally I am a HUGE Packers fan! For the last 16 years I have known no other QB that Brett. Brett will be missed. Just as Brett said in his press conference "All things must come to an end" I just hoped that after the promising season we had last year that it would be after the 08 season. Aaron Rodgers is now the starting QB and I was lucky enough to go to the game in Dallas last year and when Favre went out with the shoulder injuries I was scared that we were going to get killed. Aaron hung in there and played one hell of a game! I think that he may be the future of our yound team. Any other PACKERS fans out there, or just football fans that want to add to this conversation. I think it can be great discussion. ( I know Brett drives a Ford, his only downfall)

Hall of fame in 5 years on the first vote? I'd say that's pretty obvious huh.

He's still young, some guys like Vinny Testosteroni are still trying even into the mid 40s.

No doubt First Ballot inductee. I read an online story yesterday that read there were people already trying to get tickets to the 2013 induction ceremony. I am just happy that I had the opportunity to see Brett play. He is a Legend!
