    This is the Longshot lighting kit for 30 bucks, hard to get anything brighter or cheaper or nicer looking!

    So this uses a switch that turns on when you lift the hood?

    That's where the hoodpin goes on 99-2007 trucks. The ground attaches to the hoodpin and the power wire is fused and goes to power at your junction box.

    I do have LED's in the hood scoop White and I can switch them to Blue. They light up the bay good..Click image for larger version.
