    Talking 94 suburban cruise control

The cruise control on my 94 1500 works fine but the speedometer goes crazy and bounces all over the dial when i engage it. Has anyone had the same problem? If so Where should i start to fix it?

    Default factory cruise

Yes it has a factory cruise mounted on the blinker. The speedometer will jump from the speed the cruise is set at to top speed and back very erratically. it never falls below the set speed.

Man thats a good one! I dont know....Ive never heard or seen that one...Im thinking since your cruise is using the speed signal generated from your tranny, and its all good untill you engage the cruise, that MAYBE its R.F. interference....check your harness at the firewall. @ the cruise module, for cuts burrs ect. Is it too close to plug wires...Ect...?? Hard to tell with out seein that one. Check and move stuff around. Check the ground connections at your cruise module. And at the I.P. ( left side of dash, and steering column brackets.) CLEAN AND TIGHT! Good luck man.
