    Default I'm ticked off!

As most of you know, I'm new here on the forum. I've had a really pissy past couple of days. Here's the story.

Well, Tuesday night I go put gas in the Tundra. Wednesday morning I decide to take the Tundra to work because it has more gas. On the way, I stop at a red light and get rear eneded by a Hyundai (SP?). the person has insurance and all that, but have the hassle of having to get it fixed. Just glad I wasn't in the Silverado. I take the Tundra again todayvand leave the Silverado home. My mother was at my house to watch my sick daughter. The Silverado and her Honda are in the driveway. The lawn care people are here today to do the first mowing of the season. Well, the guy with the leave blower walks between the Honda and Silverado swinging back and forth. Every swing the blower on his back is hitting the side of my truck. leaving scratches all down the passenger side of the truck. I found the owner of the lawn care company and made him aware of my total displeasure with the situation. He promised to pay to have the truck buffed and polished. I found the blower guy and told him to learn to respect other persons property a little more. I told him not to use that blower around my house and if I saw him around my house with it again I would shove it up his butt.

I need a beer!!! OK rant off. Thanks for leatting me vent!

I'm just going to fix both trucks my self and pocket all the money. I'm pretty sure the scratches in the Silverado are surface only. Putting the bumper on the Tundra is going to be a little more fun! $700 just for the parts for the Tundra. That's assuming the frame part of the hitch isn't damaged. If it is, that's another $1100.

Id say for get the beer and go straight to the Jack Daniels. I probably would have killed the guy with the blower. I guess that one of the reason i do my own yard work cant trust anyone to do the job right. Hope things gets better for ya.

I do landscaping and we're constantly are worried about that. Usually we just stay away from cars all together because people are out there bustin your ass if you're even close to the car with any of the equipment.

Smart idea to stay away. I would normally do my own yard but I live in a community with a homeowners assoc. They contract the yard work out and they mow all front yards in the neighborhood. I've got the schedule now and my truck will never be here when they are. Most guys I know in the landscaping business are very contientious. But this dude today was just a jerk off!

or just go out there and sprinkle some roofing nails around the yard. Kind of like a spike strip. Either that or if you can get your hands on some land mines......
