I used Auto-Rx in the front axel of my Sonoma (4WD) and then topped off the gear oil. This is my first 4WD. What happens in the front axel when you are operating in 2WD? Is there movement going on? In order for the Auto-Rx to work, things must be in motion to circulate the gear oil. Thanks in advance!
There will be fluid movement in the differential when in 2wd. There is always oil "splash" to lubricate the bearings.
