Default Blackin' out my boe tie.

Okay, I wanna get both my bow ties black. Whats the best way to do that? Paint it? Buy some new bow ties? Thanks.

Best way to do it is to get them hydro dipped, lasts forever and looks cool, can get alot of designs in it also and have it black. But the cheaper way, is to just buy any type of black vinyl you want, lay it on the emblem, and then cut to fit. Worked fine for me on my old truck! but love my hydro dipped ones now

I don't know what you have for a vehicle; but a lot of the bow-ties are made of black plastic with a cover.

If you have a pair of the gold bow-ties (front and rear), the yellow tinted plastic cover can be removed (use a little heat from a heat gun), the aluminum foil gently scrapped off, and there will be a black plastic bow-tie remaining. The chrome trim line remains and it looks very nice.
