1994 chevy 3/4 ton 4x4 not working help please

my 1994 chevy silverado 3/4 ton truck with the 454 is having issues. the 4x4 wont engage. the fuse is till good. but when i throw it nto 4 lo or hi the hubs wont engage. all the connectors are securely connected too. and the indicator light at lever wont turn on either. any suggestions?

4x4 actuator is out. It's on the front drive shaft next to the differential. It's what engages the auto lock. Little plug. Had a 90 chevy 4x4 that had the same problem. Front end would never lock down, just the rear. Replaced the actuator and it worked. It's like a 75-85 dollar part.
