I like that! It looks really good... and it's a functional mod too. I'm a bit biased though since I'm a big fan of LEDs.
I picked up a factory underhood light for my Avalanche for cheap from the junkyard a couple weeks ago, but I might just have to do an LED strip in addition to or instead of the factory one. I already have a hood pin for my remote starter and a couple of spots left in my aux. fuse panel, so it wouldn't take much to set that up.

What is the technical ability to complete this job? I have been considering something similar but running them down the bottom of the truck to act as puddle lights.2012 Chevy Silverado Z71 4x4 5.3
